Madison Jane Smith ’25 Endowed Memorial Scholarship
To celebrate the life and legacy of Madison Smith ’25, family and friends have established the Madison Jane Smith ‘25 Endowed Memorial Scholarship. Schiolarship awardees will be deserving Good Counsel students who embody the spirit and determination of Maddie. By participating in our Memorial Golf Tournament, or by giving directly to the scholarship by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page, you are ensuring that Madison's legacy lives on through her fellow student athletes.
A lover of ducks, the color yellow, General Tso’s chicken, and her dog Wrigley, Maddie embraced being a part of the Good Counsel community. She was one of the youngest members of the varsity golf team, and one of the only females on the team. Maddie competed through her chemotherapy treatments, battling for the WCAC championship while receiving cancer treatments. She will be honored with being named captain of the team for what would have been her senior season. She also competed for the Good Counsel swim team, which won the 2022-23 WCAC Championship. Maddie was a member of the National Honor Society, and dreamed of playing golf at Augusta National.
